The short version
Many of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a percentage of the sale. You pay the same price you would have paid anyway. That commission is how this site funds its work.
What commission does not do
- It does not set the order of a list. Rankings are decided before anyone checks which retailers have a programme.
- It does not buy a verdict. Products we recommend against are frequently ones we could earn from.
- It does not buy coverage. No merchant can pay to appear here, and none sees an article before it publishes.
- It does not change the “not for you” section. Every review says who should skip the product, whether or not we earn on it.
How you can tell
Every outbound commercial link on this site carries rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and opens in a new tab. Articles that contain one show a disclosure line under the byline, before you read a word of the review. The offer block at the end of an article is always clearly a commercial link.
Products we are sent
Some products are supplied by manufacturers for review. A sample is not payment, and accepting one carries no obligation of any kind — including the obligation to publish at all. Where a product was supplied rather than bought, the article says so.
Prices and availability
Prices change constantly and we do not quote figures we cannot stand behind. Where a price matters to a recommendation, we describe the tier rather than a number that will be wrong within a month. Always check the current price at the retailer before buying.
If you would rather not
You are welcome to search for any product we mention and buy it without using our links. The articles work exactly the same either way.
